Campanile College Tours plans and coordinates all details for your high school student group to visit campuses in the US, Canada, and the UK. In consultation with your counselors, we will curate a custom campus experience based on your students’ interests - whether a special academic focus, or athletic or performing arts emphasis. Airline ticketing, hotels, ground transfers, group meals and student payments are all managed by us.
Counselors/chaperones attend the tour for free! We recommend a Campanile Tour Manager to accompany your trip to handle all the daily details so you can focus on your students.

Group Tour FAQs
-
Our expert advisors will work with you to develop an engaging tour within your requested dates and geographic area of interest. Generally we visit two campuses per day or a maximum of 12 campuses over the course of 5-days. We are happy to discuss which campuses fit your students' goals best and work well geographically.
-
We can arrange tours across the US as well as in Canada and the UK.
-
The cost of the tour is a factor of the length of the trip, location of departure airport, and number of participants and costs associating with covering chaperone fees and any additional fee-based activities requested. We are happy to give you a typical price range for your particular tour.
-
Most tours are 5- 6 nights - departing on a Saturday or Sunday and returning at the end of that week on Friday evening or Saturday.
-
Colleges generally request a 1:10 or 1:12 ratio. We recommend including both female and male chaperones for your group.
-
Chaperones are selected by your school and usually include at least one college counselor. Other adults may be teachers, athletic coaches, or administrative support staff.
-
The fees for chaperones are generally covered by student fees, although some schools will pay the trip fee for chaperones.
-
If requested, we can add a chaperone stipend into the cost of the trip. Many schools will provide a stipend directly to their staff. Some chaperones volunteer to join the trip and do not request payment.
-
We can design tours that include parents as well as students.
-
Schools can choose to have their chaperones manage the tour from departure airport to arrival home, following our very detailed itinerary. Campanile College Tours can also provide a Tour Manager to accompany the trip and take care of all logistics so that chaperones can focus solely on their students. We recommend you utilize Campanile's Tour Manager unless the college counselor is very familiar with the campuses you'll be visiting.
-
Yes! We will work with you to add some exciting off-campus events for your students during the week. For example, a So Cal tour might include a trip to Disneyland (and a Disney seminar in Physics of Rollercoasters) and a trip to Williamsburg VA might include a Tavern dinner and walk through Colonial Williamsburg. We can make time for a New York City trip to include a Broadway show and a Washington DC trip with a visit to the Capitol or a Monuments tour. These excursions generally will incur an added cost to the overall tour price.
-
Campanile College Tours has an air team that will handle a group air reservation.

We are currently working on trips for Summer 2026 - 2027. As soon as you know the dates that work with your school's schedule, please be in touch with us.
-
Schools are encouraged to host us for a parent Zoom meeting so that they can meet our staff, review the proposed itinerary, and ask us all their questions. We meet with the parents again a few weeks before the trip to review packing lists and the final itinerary.
-
We strongly recommend that families purchase the optional travel insurance policy offered through Campanile so that their tour fee is covered in the case of student illness or other "covered reasons" as set by the insurance company. International (non-US) students are required to purchase travel insurance that also provides emergency medical coverage in the United States.
